Car Parking

Centenary Hall Parking

The Centenary Hall has a car park located next to the hall, however, the car park is shared with other facilities and is not for the sole use of Hall users
At certain times of the day the car park can be very busy, and a space cannot be guaranteed.
Some disabled car parking slots are available.
There are no electric EV car recharging points.

Smallfield Village Car Park - Open 19 February 2024

Situated on Redehall Road just south of the shops. The car park is very much a work in progress, being a living Natural grass car park designed to be sustainable and aesthetically pleasing on Green belt land, we would have liked it to be more established, but with the upcoming roadworks on Redehall road/Wheelers lane about to commence we are opening a little earlier than would have been advised, in order to try and help with parking in and around the school and shops.

Opening Times

Mon- Fri 07:45 - 19.15
Sat, Sun & Public Holidays - 09:00 - 17:00
The car park will be locked overnight (if a vehicle is still parked after the gates are locked there will be no way to gain access til the following morning).
The height barrier restricts any vehicle 2m tall or over.

The car park is open to our whole community, but its primary intention is to help the School with extra parking for Staff and as a designated Children drop off and pick up point, as well as for visitors to our local shops. There are no restrictions to the length of stay at present and close monitoring will be in place and changes made if applicable over time.

What is still left to complete

In total we have 51 parking bays, 3 disabled (nearest to the pedestrian gate at the northern end) and to come will be 6 EV charging points (again at the northern end along the western side), all bays will be marked up on the curb stones only. (once the grass grows lines on the ground would not been seen).
As the car park is on green belt land, planting bays have been included on the western side to try and make it more aesthetically pleasing and blend in with school field, these are yet to be planted up, but will be low level shrubbery, ground cover and trees. The existing hedge on the eastern boundary along Redehall Road will remain.
There is still the 2 x CCTV to be fitted, low level lighting along with Parish Council noticeboard, rubbish and dog bins, please bare with us and all will be completed ASAP and a Grand Opening will take place later in the year.
